A day in the life of the Candle Lady!

My day was great! I started out getting ready at 7am, had my coffee, made a couple of phone calls, answered some emails, prepared some candle catalogs to be mailed out, for people who requested them from my site, sent out two fundraiser packages, and got my day rolling.

Snoopy my baby, the love of my life, my little shih tzu, me and my associate Tina took him to the groomers, it was haircut time, when we got to the groomers the girls there, were really busy but they took time to look at our candles and put a candle giveaway box in the store where the customers could register for a chance to win the free 16oz jar candle and soy soap our company gives away weekly! So I was so excited they agreed to let us do this!

I have really spent a lot of time this last 3 mos. with the candle company! I just love it! The candles really sell themselves. Tina had made a big order and got a lot of the scents that everyone loves, the Birthday Cake flavor went first then the Sweet Orange and Chili Pepper, the girl is on fire! She has sold a total of $300 in candles since she got her order in yesterday, my car and house is smelling pretty incredible.

We made scent samples today to pass out to the customers at the beauty shop I work at on Fridays and Saturdays, the customers have really been asking about the scents a lot, so I wanted to get some sample scent bags made so I could attach my card and let them smell some of our top selling fragrances.

The girls at the dog grooming shop bought the Sweet Orange and Chili Pepper candle and when I went to pick Snoopy up this afternoon the dog grooming shop did not smell like dog anymore, the smell permeated through the whole shop! The girls told me they were amazed because the candles did not make any black soot, I explained to them earlier today that the candles are soot free but I think by them burning the candle they finally believed me!

We went to check on some other lead boxes and had a total of 11 leads in one week! Can you believe that! I was so excited, when I sold other at home products I never got that many leads in one month!!

The giveaway boxes are really pretty from the company, so I think it catches peoples eyes!

The second place we went to was this little country store, we had 5 people including customers that wanted to buy the candles, we sold two and passed out some business cards and catalogs, we were SMOKIN! ...

Next we went to the sign shop, and signed off on the proofs for our magnets we had made for the business, and that lady bought a candle! Wow! Amazing what happens when you just ask for the sale!

IT IS SIMPLE, SMELL AND SELL!

Out of the 11 leads 5 people want to become representatives so our team is growing in leaps and bounds!

We bought some more labels today for the scent samples, and votives. We are selling the votives for $3 and the jar candles for $20, so there is about a $9 profit on the jars!

We also got some information in today from the company on fundraising and we have had several organizations request information, that is where the money is to be made!

It is really convienient! The company gives you 2 jar candles and a soap every month for the $39.95 membership fee, and you get a free website, so you can actually resell those products at retail prices and make your money back!

It is a win - win situation!

I am so excited about all my new team members, our newest addition is Lily, Darlene, Tina and Sandy!!

We have 3 people that are supposed to sign up before the end of the week! But you know it is totally not just a recruiting game! People can go straight to your website and order your products and the company sends you a commission check once a month for 50 percent of the profits, plus you make money each month off everyone who is under you, or you can buy the candles at wholesale prices and resell them, or you can do fundraising and make a killing, or you can just get a membership so you yourself can get your personal candles at wholesale prices or if you need to buy gifts or wedding or babyshower/ birthday - special occasion gifts throughout the year!

I will keep you posted! We are seriously doing great! If you would like to look at our candles or the business end please visit http://www.bellasboutique.candlebizfromhome.com
